Camp Description and Fees
The rich history behind the name Spectrum is being reintroduced in a summer camp format. We rekindle a time in the 1970’s when many famous Deaf artists descended upon Austin, Texas, with a mission to create something bigger than themselves.
Our flagship Spectrum Camp is THE camp that brings our similarities and our differences together to spark creativity and develop a stronger sense of identity. Spectrum Camp aims to enable and inspire our campers to dream big and accomplish goals.
Campers will have many opportunities to work on self-awareness, self-growth, leadership and empowerment, identity and future goals.
Never short on fun, an assortment of summer activities include: recreational swimming, ropes course, archery, performance and fine arts, and more. A true camp experience!
All camp participants are assumed to be staying the night on campus during the duration of the camp unless we are notified otherwise during the registration period. The legal guardian will be responsible for dropping off participants at 7:30 a.m. and pick up at 5-5:30 p.m.(before or after dinner) or 7:30 p.m., respectively.
Drop off will be located between the football and baseball fields (west side of campus).
Pick up will be behind mess hall for those who are picking up participants at 5-5:30 p.m.
For those who are picking up participants at 7:30 p.m., the location will be between the football and baseball fields (west side of campus).
$225 per camper. Financial Aid available, first come first serve.
