Families of Deaf Students File Class Action Lawsuit Against Northside ISD

Five families in the Northside Independent School District, Texas' fourth largest school district, filed a class action lawsuit against the district. In the petition they are alleging several counts of disability discrimination against deaf and hard-of-hearing students stating that the school district is not providing adequate education for the deaf and hard-of-hearing students.
